I thought Rodri had turned a corner at Watford last season, he had something like 115 touches and didn’t stop running. But other than that and the odd other game, he’s been such a poor club record fee signing. He’s fucking boring to watch, hides so he can’t be passed to, jogs around like he’s playing for a Vets Saturday league team on Hough End... his position is vital to get moves going in our team and more often than not he does absolutely fuck all
 
Should be 0-0 but as always in this formation we create nothing.

Aguero needs to come off, that last 2 minutes he was literally stood on halfway walking while we had a counter on.

Sterling also crap, dont know why we he keeps drifting centrally and not giving their left back a 2v1 to think about.

Teams have figured it out which is how football works. Someone comes along and innovates, wins a lot and then managers figure out ways to counter it. Pep just does not have any notion of a plan B. It's either we feebly crash against the opposition defence and get done on the counter or we manage a moment of quality and edge out a win but it's fucking dross to watch.

This midfield that we have is no fucking good, we have gone from arguably the best midfield 3 in the world 3 seasons ago, to bottom half Prem standard. How?

Then we have 2 wide forwards/wingers who haven’t beaten a man in 12 months. I have never seen a winger pass backwards as much as Mahrez and Sterling without goals is nothing. I mean he might as well have has a lie down in that 1st half.

When the only attacking outlet you have as a team, is a right back, playing left back, you know you're are fucked.

We aren't going to start playing champagne football any time soon.

Pep's literally said this, we just need to get through games at the moment and maybe around December we might see some rhythm to the games and start going through the gears.

Mahrez ineffective
Sterling has no-one to link with
Gundogan doing ok on the ball but doesn't win the ball back and get us on the front foot
Bernie all running not much else
Rodri not controlling the game as he should be
Walker and Cancelo pinned back
Garcia shite
Dias doing alright, Antonio just did superbly for the goal to hold him off and get a shot on target with his back to goal.
Ederson concrete boots for the goal
