Regardless of injuries we have 11 first squad/team players out there being paid a kings randsom every week and they still serve up this turgid shite against a David Moyes team or most teams recently. If they cant even pick up the slack for one or two of the 'elite' players then what the fuck are they being paid for?

This is very much how we played on weds night which makes the decision to play exactly the same side bonkers. First time in years pep picks the same starting 11 and guess what, we get the same shit performance.

Sometimes it feels like Rodri hardly does anything. He’s not doing much in the build up and when we’re defending sometimes I forget he’s even playing.

He plays well against Burnley, thats about it. Shocking buy, totally not suited to the PL

I thought Rodri had turned a corner at Watford last season, he had something like 115 touches and didn’t stop running. But other than that and the odd other game, he’s been such a poor club record fee signing. He’s fucking boring to watch, hides so he can’t be passed to, jogs around like he’s playing for a Vets Saturday league team on Hough End... his position is vital to get moves going in our team and more often than not he does absolutely fuck all

Dare I say it without getting my head bitten off... Possession based football is fucking boring, I enjoyed it for a few seasons but it just bores the shit out of me watching us pass side to side for the majority of matches, who gives a fuck if we dominate posession anymore? The players don't look like they are arsed with it to me.

It used to have a purpose. Pull them around a little then bam, strike. Now it’s just passing for the sake of it with no purpose or penetration

This midfield that we have is no fucking good, we have gone from arguably the best midfield 3 in the world 3 seasons ago, to bottom half Prem standard. How?

Then we have 2 wide forwards/wingers who haven’t beaten a man in 12 months. I have never seen a winger pass backwards as much as Mahrez and Sterling without goals is nothing. I mean he might as well have has a lie down in that 1st half.

When the only attacking outlet you have as a team, is a right back, playing left back, you know you're are fucked.

At least Gundogan has shown the only bit of real class in the entire first half performance today... that cross for Dias (when Dias should have headed it).
