In fairness, teams average 4 chances against us normally. And West Ham has had 5 in 45 minutes. So it's a fair point.

Which he didn't do as he cannot help himself hiding his feelings, "...giving hope for only one of the two group of fans watching the game", using your language. And that is what he himself is hoping for an outcome of the game, so I disagree.

There 'chances' include having the ball in or near our box. They've also been helped by a poor linesman, who seems to run looking at the byeline rather than the last man, which means he misses offsides. That said, our passing at the back has invited pressure at times, Ederson has passed poorly to his right and to the centre of the park, and Walker looks as if he hasn't seen much of a ball for a fortnight.

We deserve to be 3-0 up, they've had a couple of soft shots and some presence in our defensive third but nothing to be concerned about, we've looked well in control and our passing has been excellent.
