I dont disagree but as a top level professional you should be able to adapt which none can do! As for Haaland not sure what he is atm!
He’s adapted well enough considering he gets benched every other game and whenever he does play he’s got a new role with a totally new supporting cast. The chemistry is different

Years ago this would of worked, tired them out and kicked on to finish them off but let’s be honest in ten years teams have worked this out they conserve energy as we don’t kill them off with slow football! And they in fact have more energy than us in second half as per our performances this year in second half’s
Guess we will see.

I think there is also an element of back to basics about tonight since we were blown away in mid week, second to all the 50/50, couldn’t keep possession when we had it…tonight looks like we are intentionally keeping the tempo low, a compact shape, and trying to pass our way through them.

Hopefully a better 2nd half. And don’t get fooled by possession or 100% passes.
After conceding due to a Donnarumma howler we look vulnerable. Again.

Fuck it, second half.
Let’s hope Ljinders has given them some inhalers at half time and not the rohypnol they usually have.

Come on City.

The title was gone long ago...people just refused to see it....we have played shite all season even when winning and its only cause Arsenal are decidedly average that we are anywhere near them
I agree but with a game in hand and them to play 3 tonight and it’s not gone.

Pep brings back Doku, Cherki, and Nico Gonzalez in place of Marmoush, Bernardo, and O'Reilly.
Please !

Stats show why we are not good enough. Fewest second half goals scored in 2026 across the league. Haaland, Foden, Rodri all been really poor in that period.
