It feels solid. I wasn't worried at 0-0 or 1-0 that we might concede. Mendy's looking fit and a physical presence. Walker is pressing well, Aké and Stones look comfortable next to each other, Rodri is playing brilliantly, Fern is adding some solidity to the midfield.

Phil definitely doesn't want to be wide right, if we get to 3-0 I'd like to see Ferran on the right and see what we're like with 2 wingers.

Energetic, direct and aggressive. The team has a different energy about it and it's noticeable and Kev the tip of the triangle in midfield is causing a nightmare for Wolves. Brilliant!

Meh, gave a few away. But I'm not complaining. Think Rodri has been the better DM.

Phil Foden is the real difference. When Foden and Gabby are hustling up front, everything else works easier defensively.

Great first half performance. Really pleased with how settled the defence looks. Don't think i've ever seen Stones win as many headers.

i feel so good after seeing that first 45. The 4 2 3 1 wow never thought pep would go with this but it makes so much sense with lack of legs so half the pitch the dms have to cover. Ake looking as good as I knew he would be. Stones starting nice and aggressive which is when he is at his best and kdb wow what a fucking player he is. God I love this team

wow. That was mighty impressive. I really like the Fern Rodri partnership. They look at it. Stones and Ake played very well too. No matter what happens 2nd half, that first 45 minutes was way above anything else we have seen so far this season.

John Stones and Ake look pretty fucking sound to me. To think John played well over half the games in the 198 points seasons, and yet the nasty snide abuse he gets in here. I hope he gets a run in the team, all he needs

Looking classy when under little pressure hasn’t been his problem. He’s struggled for us for both fitness and being able to snuff out the danger when we make key mistakes. We have really only has one or two of those today and he wasn’t asked to clean them up
