Match Thread | Wolves vs. Manchester City (16/08/25)

I think so - they mean the same thing. Pro-active just means active, but was probably dreamed up by the same person who first used the expression 'blue sky scenario'.

Pre-assist would be valid if there was such a thing as a 'post-assist' - a good trick, if you can do it... :-)
an you show me where you get the definitions that support your claims and what shows that most people agree?

Pro-active includes IN ANTICIPATION

Active does not necessarily include anything in advance.

Pre-Assist:

A pre-assist, is the pass or action that sets up the assist.

It is the play that initiates the attacking sequence leading to a goal
, and it holds significant strategic value.

Coaching staff and scouts place considerable emphasis on identifying players who excel in delivering pre-assists, as these players often demonstrate exceptional vision, creativity, and technical skills.

If someone punches someone 2 times and knocks them down after the last punch.

Another person punched them 6 times before this with 3 to the side of their head.

but someone else punched them 8 times before this

also with more key hits to the side of the head that left the other person was already beggining to dizzy when they got to the 2nd person

Who is the person with the most impact?

Should we only care about the last 2?
