If anyone at the Club is reading this will you please sort out the numbskulls who steward the Home coach park ? The way they arrange the parking is a joke. Our SC coach is regularly directed to a space amongst the hospitality buses and/or coaches travelling from Scotland. All of which seem to regularly hang on for a considerable time after the game, thus clogging up the exit arrangements for other coaches like ours who want to get away for what is a long trip home. It came to a head today when our driver complained to the stewards, only to be told that as we are from Carlisle we are classed as a Scottish coach ! He was then told that the coach reg no had been noted and that if he continued to complain we would be banned ! You really could not make it up. Sort it out City - we can well do without this sort of hassle after a match. Fans like us spend a lot of money travelling long distances supporting our Club and we deserve better treatment.
It's simple - park all the hospitality & Scottish coaches on one side, with the rest of us on the other. Whilst you are at it, please also point out to the stewards that Carlisle is in England !

Get your Branch Secretary to complain directly to the club - he should have a contact or he can get one from Kevin Parker - ours did that when the stewards were failing to give departing coaches priority when leaving after the match. It seems to have worked eventually in that regard, he's talking through his arse with the banning threat.

Banned ? Wtf he on about, see this is a thing that will never ever leave our club,I'm sure other clubs have the same issues, but I don't care about others, just ours

We have far too many jobsworths and incompetent fuck wits, from the nuggets who have an IQ of about 3 that serve food and drink,to stewards who are just there because they like wearing a bright coloured jacket at weekends,,ticket office mugs and security checkers, that well quite frankly are clueless,it's a joke and I've said it for years now.

All as I can say about my matchday experience is that the football is great, the staff that work there are awful, backward at times, and the amount of suit and tie guys you see,it's like a convention for nightclub bouncers,I try to blank it out but it's hard not to most matches.

Anyway give that clown a map of Great Britain,to show him where Carlisle is ffs

Leaving the game yesterday on the road next to the underground entrance.
A Southampton fan and family who had parked down this road were stopped from exiting.
The jobsworth told them it would be 45 mins before they could get out.
They were right at the front. He could easily have pushed the cones back.
The Southampton guy asked why he had not been told when he entered it would be closed after the game.
The tossers were not interested. It was not as though the road was close there were Taxis flying about.
After being hammered you would think the pricks could just show a bit of common sense.

I saw that as well,my lad said, you'd have thought they would have let them go,that road was hardly busy, like you say the odd taxi,if getting hammered on the pitch was bad enough, they then had to deal with a guy who wouldn't know what day it was if you asked him, wonder if they did get let out ? Doubt it

We've had a similar issue in the past & our Club Transport Manager went down the route you have suggested. He politely emailed the Club. Guess what - he didn't get the courtesy of a reply. When he followed it up he received a bit of a fob off email back to say it would be looked into. It's now gone back to the same old chaos. Anyway, he's going to have a quiet & polite word with the head jobsworth when we arrive on Weds night to see if he can sort it once & for all. Failing that, as you say, we need to go to City yet again & copy in KP (again). For all this crap we get about the Matchday Experience, the customer service is at times non-existent.

This happens to us every game. The jobsworth numbskulls are determined to jam regular coaches in tight behind corporate day trippers who are obviously there for the day "experience".
This means that all other coaches have to reverse out of a busy coach park, normally in the dark causing all sorts of chaos whilst the earlier so called "head of all parking arrangements" is nowhere to be found.
It`s not rocket science If a coach arrives some 2 hours before K.O. full of day trippers. It`s a good bet they will still be taking in the "experience" for some time after the game. Just keep them to one side of the coach park instead of blocking all others in.

You have raised another issue, of course. Sooner or later someone is going to get injured (or possibly killed) in all the to-ing & fro-ing. As you rightly say it's even more of a problem in the dark. There are a good number of fans with a few drinks inside them walking around looking for coaches after the match. It's a fecking ridiculous situation and it needs sorting.
