It's about a mile away. Aint that short a walk
Not that far really but if you're driving what would the price be to park at Burgess Hill or Haywards Heath rail station? I'm pretty certain your match ticket allows free travel to the ground from there. I'm staying at Burgess Hill so that's where I'm getting the train from.

I think it might be tricky getting out of there at the end, I remember walking past there last time I was there and there was a big queue going out one way under a small bridge....there might be another way out but not sure

The bars at the ground stay open for a while after the match and the queues die down relatively quickly. Hopefully, we're a few goals to the good so the Brighton fans clear off early.

I only mentioned it, not to try and put people off, but because at first glance I assumed it was part of the university, which is of course right next door.

I wouldn't want anyone else thinking that and then finding out they've got a mile's walk, probably up hill, to get to the ground.

We normally just get a taxi for a few quid each from the town centre to the university car park. But with the early kick off, will probably just stay on the train straight to the ground this time.

We always do the free park n ride from the racecourse, never had any real problems with the Brighton fans
Hi All, just to advise that the racecourse P&R is not available for the game. Not sure why. Last time they done this they added an extra P&R at Brighton marina. Some of the roads in the Hanover part of Town just off the Lewes rd are residents parking but some are only through the week not weekends. If u find a space there the buses are free.
Free travel by train between Haywards heath in the north Worthing in the west and Lewes in the east of Brighton. Hope this helps. Will pop back nearer the game if u have any questions. Safe travels to you all.

Oh by the way we have a new fan zone at the ground, all welcome except Palarse.

Price to park a lot cheaper than in Brighton. Word of advice if getting train u normally have to change at Brighton, don't leave it to late as it gets busy for the train one and a half hours before kick off

I always travel in from Lewes. You can park there easily and many London trains stop there without going into the centre of Brighton. Lewes is the next stop to Falmer and takes seven minutes straight to the stadium. Train is free with a match ticket and the train queue after the game is smaller for Lewes than Brighton. Lewes has a fantastic selection of pubs and eating places. Plenty of City fans do this route.

Hi all
Update on the P&R sites.
Racecourse park & ride will not be in operation for this match.
Mill Road park & ride will be available as usual and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
To compensate for the loss of Racecourse, the club has secured additional park & ride sites at Pyecombe and EDF. These sites must be pre-booked in advance.
Please note:

  • The last park & ride bus departs the stadium 90 minutes after the final whistle
  • Pyecombe and EDF sites will close shortly after the last bus departure

For those who don't know where Pyecome is it's on the A23 just before you come into Brighton. You will see the Texaco petrol station on the right. I believe you turn off the A23 just a little further on. Remember I need to book. Hope this helps

The Race Course is not available for the obvious reason. There is horse racing on.

That’s a bit rude of them to have horse racing on the same day as Manchester City are playing Brighton and Hove Albion! I call that very inconsiderate. ;-) ;-)

I love that name Brighton and Hove Albion. I used to wait for their results when I was a child………and no it wasn’t on a steam radio!! :-);
