they usually return the card after a couple of games from what i've heard. he should contact the club.

As i said mate, he knows he has done wrong but come on, it was a cig ffs, you get people giving it the racist chants etc, he had a couple off his cig, Orwellian nightmare is here im afraid.

It's a bit Draconian to take his card, though. Fair enough, you break the rules you take the consequences. Throwing him out is sufficient punishment, surely?
