Another day another smoking debate! No doubt this will turn nasty (like the 1000's of others on the same subject)

Just like the numerous threads about our fans singing this or that or being scum.

If i was a mod i would create a locked sticky, damming all such behaviour to appease the few that want to create these threads daily and from then on, delete any new ones the minute they are created.
That's a cracking idea, get on it Ducado,1.Smoking issues at COMS.
2.Offensive chants. City obviously monitor this site, so it would make it easier for them to see ongoing issues at COMS if they were in one or 2 threads.

You have to understand that it's something that pisses a hell of a lot of people off though. Your mate must have only just walked into the stadium if it was before kick-off, so why couldn't he have just had one outside first?
We got straight off the matchbus and into the ground as our train was delayed getting into Piccadilly.

I know it's wrong and the toilets are so much better than they were when I first started going - remember Maine Road's lol, I used to hold it in!!

However it is just another sign how football has slowly been taken away from the working man since all-seaters and Sky. Slowly been priced out and left out. The authorities won't be happy until stadiums are full of families with 2.4 children. Just look at the graphics/titles during Sky football shows - crowd shots always show happy familes, multi-racial, young and old. You don't get many shots of groups of beer wielding working class lads hurling abuse at the ref!!

What I cant believe is this was before kick off goes to prove they do remove people for doing it. I think the reason that it isn't so risky at half time is sheer numbers of stewards that would be required to clear out the toilets.

Buzzer, leave it mate, your very wrong about De niro and your trying to defend the indefensible.

Your mate needs to write a letter of apology and hopefully he will get his card back.
I am not trying to defend anyone mate, he did wrong, end of. I was just asking for advice as the kid is seriously gutted, instead you just get little bitchy comments, im the muppet for responding to the dicks, and yes, that is my opinion of them.

this is bang on the money, football has changed, society changed, we as fans have to move along with it.
i take my wife and daughter to most games, did'nt dare years ago, changed for the better in that respect.

as a non- smoker, i dont know if smokers can go without for 90 mins, but it is the law of the country, and if said smokers can go on a plane for two hrs then they can go 90 mins without 1. also what happens with fans who are smokers going to away games on buses to london, sunderland, hull and the like.

e got straight off the matchbus and into the ground as our train was delayed getting into Piccadilly.

Why not have a cig on the bus instead?
