Mate kicked out.

East Stand L1, there's an outside gap before the toilets, and loads of us have a cig there at halftime. Was he actually in the toilet building? Whereabouts in the stadium was he?

I feel sorry for your mate but as other posters have suggested, a polite and contrite sorry letter is probably the best way to go.

I'm a smoker myself and fancied one at half time but decided not to risk it. Good call because my mate went to the toilets and said the stewards were kicking loads out. We were in 140.

Fortunately, while the game is actually being played, having a ciggy doesn't even enter my head. I'm too busy mithering about City.

Don't know why some blocks can't be designated smoking blocks. It's not exactly indoors is it ffs. The thing is all you nonsmokers is that it's the thin end of the wedge. Within 10 years you wont be able to have a drink at matches, mark my words. Gradually all our personal choices are being taken away from us.

'Rather be a rag than a smoker'. Come on De Niro...are you sure you don't want to edit that!

I know it's wrong and the toilets are so much better than they were when I first started going - remember Maine Road's lol, I used to hold it in!!

However it is just another sign how football has slowly been taken away from the working man since all-seaters and Sky. Slowly been priced out and left out. The authorities won't be happy until stadiums are full of families with 2.4 children. Just look at the graphics/titles during Sky football shows - crowd shots always show happy familes, multi-racial, young and old. You don't get many shots of groups of beer wielding working class lads hurling abuse at the ref!!

Cracking post blue.

I think they should give them a smokers den or something. Not bothered about the smokers anyway, I just wish some supporters would stop pissing in the sinks.

They did warn him though, the announcer said it over the PA and there are signs about.

Mate, he didnt even get to his seat, it was all on kick off time. The lad goes all over the gaff watching City, like the rest of us he is a top lad and a top blue, its a feckin outrage. Boot him out by all means, but withold his season ticket,? get real.

Without reading the nine pages so far, this may have already been pointed out.

Your mate didn't even get to his seat. So you're saying that he walked into the stadium, went for a piss and lit up.
So within two minutes of getting in he needed a fag.
I'd say your mate has a problem.

How many of these threads are we going to have, they seem almost weekly. The club rightly or wrongly does this often, people need to understand that.

All i wanted was some advice ffs, some of the replies have been a disgrace.

No, I'm not in anyway having a go at you, I wish people would read what you have said and take it in so no more people are kicked out.
