I think it’s a great signing. I did see someone on Twitter (yes I know) saying he’d be brought in for Carabao, and is “just a depth signing that is not in the first team plans”.

We need to remember Gundagon and KDB will be a year older next season, we need another player who can rotate with them. We've already seen recently KDB is shattered and is being subbed with 20 to go every game. Kovacic will be a great signing for us and will play 40+ games if he stays fit.
