However, in a new story from newspaper Record, it’s now claimed that the clubs actually spoke about Matheus Nunes in a lunch between officials last week.

It’s said Sporting’s Frederico Varandas and Hugo Viana had a meal with Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain at Pep Guardiola’s restaurant Tast Catala. There, among many subjects, they had an ‘informal’ mention to the midfielder.


They want £30m for the lad, wonder if Porro deal would come into the mix and knock that down to 20 ish.
Think this may have been what they were actually discussing

 

The article says, after interest from Newcastle, Everton and Wolves, now Man City are interested, Porro may be used in the business, as minimum requirement for any talk of a sale is set at €40m (release clause set at €60m).

So in essence, NO news as expected haha

Really? I thought he played well in the game. Despite the score line he was probably the standout for them in DCM/CM - easily the standout
