Considering who we have lost this summer I think this is still one of our best transfer windows in a while. We look rock solid all over the pitch and have more than enough to cope until Kev returns which in itself will feel like a new signing when he's back.
Extremely confident of us breaking even more records this season.

WTF are you talking about ? Do you live in a cave or just woken up after 2 weeks ?
What’s your problem? I’m saying I think 47 million is incredible value in a summer where players are going for 100 million?

No one thought it would be that cheap so don’t know know what you’re getting at?

Oakie is lashing at anyone who gets in his way. ;-)

Only 10 teams in the history of European football have won a treble, and Txiki was director of football for 20% of them. Maybe him deciding to walk away (or not) from the occasional Marc Cucurella or Mathieu's Nunes deal is the sort of self-sabotage we have to deal with for that sort of success.
I think it has to be recognized that Txiki is dealing with our owners money not his own. Sheikh M invested in City ie he wants to see a return on his money so setting a maximum spend limits total potential spend on a player and if he buys cheaper he generates extra potential profit.

In any sector of business setting budgets on all spend items is the best way to make money.
Spending more is the best way to lose money. Not the best way to earn yourself a bonus.

I appreciate the public sector sees budgets differently but investers think differently.
