Just imagine how we would feel if a player went on strike to force a move.

Does not fit well with me, he was happy to sign his contract.
Contracts are there to protect the club just as much as the player, so I wouldn't use that against him

As for going on strike, that's why we tend to let players go when they really want to leave.

The lad clearly wants City, put yourself in his shoes, working for something average, the opportunity arises the move to the best in your business and a payrise.

No brainer.
 
Yes think youre right.

Just think its a massive insult to loyal fans of any club.
Loyalty is nice, but if you have a career with a ten year life then it's a big call to turn down opportunities. As the window closes so soon, wolves hold all the cards and I'm guessing city will not be held to ransom so this is the players only option if he's desperate to move.
