Fixed :-)We have 12 midfielders. I can see him leaving as he can’t replace Rodri.
Doku; Jack
Savio; Bobb
Bernardo; KdB; Phil; Gundo; McAtee
Kova; Rodri?
And Nunes.

We haven't given this lad a proper run yet and no this isn't the same as the Phillips situation.
To lose a young player with loads of potential after one year for a 1-2 year proposition like Gundogan would be shit business IMO. Don't mind him going on loan if it gets him game time for the purpose of coming back into the squad once Gundogan leaves again.
Yes it would be madness, but also our bench on Saturday had Ortega, Walker, Ake, Stones, Gundogan, McAtee, Grealish and NunesDo we want the smallest squad ever in the Premier league. We can't afford to lose any more players except for Cancelo, getting rid of Nunes as well would be utter madness
Like when we waited a year after Sergio for Haaland. City know what they are doing long term.I'd keep an eye on Musiala. Next season
As Guardiola pointed out, City could feasibly play up to 70 games this season. We're gonna need a bigger squad.Yes it would be madness, but also our bench on Saturday had Ortega, Walker, Ake, Stones, Gundogan, McAtee, Grealish and Nunes
That doesn't include Rodri & Foden, 2 of our best (also Bobb but he's a long term injury but he'll be back this year)
Our squad is small, but it's amazing
Also, doesn't this give a chance for the youth players, like Rico, Bobb, McAtee, O'Reilly etc. A route to the first team
Don't get me wrong, I don't think we should lose Nunes and we'd need a new body, but the size of the squad seems intentional and it's getting boring that for 3 years now everyone keeps talking about the squad size being too small while we win literally everything available to us
We have a bigger squad than last year alreadyAs Guardiola pointed out, City could feasibly play up to 70 games this season. We're gonna need a bigger squad.
Loan out McAtee and keep Nunes.
By bigger squad, I also take Pep's comments to mean filled with players he'll use. As things stood, that counted out Philips, Cancelo & mostly Nunes. We have a bigger squad than last year already
Young? He's 26 mate and hasn't shown much when given an opportunity. We haven't given this lad a proper run yet and no this isn't the same as the Phillips situation.

And don't we already have a bigger squad technically speaking? As Guardiola pointed out, City could feasibly play up to 70 games this season. We're gonna need a bigger squad.
That's my point right there. From what I can see, we're right on the limit squad wise, but a couple of key injuries could dump us in the shit. And don't we already have a bigger squad technically speaking?
Major out (1): Alvarez
Major in (2): Savinho & Gundogan
Minor out (2): Phillips (300 total mins) & Gomez (150 total mins)
Minor in (2): McAtee & O'Reilly (and Kabore?)
We brought in 2 first teamers in place of 1, and we got rid of 2 players we didn't trust other than first round of the cups or dead rubbers and brought in a few youth players from the academy to pick up the minutes
Yes 2 additions would be great but our depth is compable to our rivals, Arsenal and LiverpoolThat's my point right there. From what I can see, we're right on the limit squad wise, but a couple of key injuries could dump us in the shit.
Personally, I'd be happier with a back-up for Haaland & a specialist DCM back-up for Rodri. With two quality additions, we'd be ready to rock & roll for a difficult long season ahead.
Gundog's return has seen a wave of relief across the club because we know what he can do. Kovacic is coming into his own. If we can move Nunes on & replace both him & Julian with quality additions, we'll be properly set imo
So back to Pep's point. City could potentially play 70+ top class games this season. Are Haaland & Rodri expected to play in all 70?Yes 2 additions would be great but our depth is compable to our rivals, Arsenal and Liverpool
Just bored of this exaggerated narrative
And back to Pep's comments, we've made no serious attempts to sign anyone to add to this squad, so he's clearly not that unhappySo back to Pep's point. City could potentially play 70+ top class games this season. Are Haaland & Rodri expected to play in all 70?
This is where a Kyogo & a Guimarães etc would be the icing on our cake for the season. Just imagine what the addition of two players of that ilk would have on the mindset of our opposition?
I hope he doesn’t come back but don’t think he’s much changed, he’s just not had Pep in his ear every week.Sterling won't be coming back, he's shite now.
Well let's hope KDB, Haaland, Stones & Rodders get through the season unscathed. With a possible 70+ games ahead of us, they're gonna be needed for at least 50 of them each, unless we drop our team quality by using youth or squad members like Nunes. And back to Pep's comments, we've made no serious attempts to sign anyone to add to this squad, so he's clearly not that unhappy
I'd rather promote the youth players who are excelling and Pep clearly rates then sign "depth players" because there isn't really any need for first team signings when no gaps exist
