He is leaving AC on a free, proven in the EPL, wouldnt expect to start every game and can cover a number of positions! What you lot think? I would have him in a heartbeat on a free!

Would be a good replacement for NDJ if rumours are true about him not signing a new contract - a decent to good squad player to have in the side.

A player we were linked with, and one i really wanted,a couple of seasons back.Would he be a Barry replacement? If so,i'd like to think we can do better.

He was shit for arsenal and then he had a blinding season and left on a free. Don't know how he's done at Milan? If he could recreate his last season at arsenal he'd be a stunner of a free transfer

Yeah, would be great! NDJ wants 100+ but Flamini should be 60-80. Would like him.

you're right we can do better but he would n't be a replacement to Barry, hopefully he still has the energy that he is known for. My guess he would be signed as a squad player and would have a similar role as when Zabaleta played in midfield, his versatility in terms of being able to play at both fullback positions would also help when we inevitably pick up injuries.

Another transfer that I hope doesn't happen. He's no where near as good as what DeJong is and if we were to replace him then I would hope it would be with someone with a lot more quality.

How do Milan or more specifically Galliani do it? Flamini is released by Milan and has just signed back for them a week later... with a 60% pay cut compared to what he was on! He's on only £25,000 a week now. Galliani seems to be the shrewdest player in the game, impressive that we stood up to him over Tevez or we'd have gotten robbed too.

Why are you comparing Flamini to De Jong? They are two completely different types of players. The only thing in common is that they play midfield.

Seems a steal for that sort of cash. Would have been a good squad player for us at least, not sure how he's playing now since he's been in Italy
