City supposedly interested in a move according to Mirror Football.

Not a big follower of South American football and can't say I had even heard of him before. He plays for Universidad de Chile (yes they play in Chile) and at 26 years old is suddenly rated as someone who the likes of City could be interested in. This is a guy who was rejected after a trial with LASK Linz (Austria) and previously played for Boca Juniors and Nacional (Uruguay) before joining Uni de Chile as a free agent. There he won the equivalent of the Champions League in South America.

Now I've heard of late developers but this is an extreme case. He's Argentinian but has no caps. Mancini wouldn't sign just anyone but this guy seems to have come from nowhere.

Must be true if it's in the paper, I'll book my tattoo for next week

Well I was of the understanding you knew the truth about everything...

While Alan Nixon's name wasn't mentioned on the article I'm assuming the "football spy" articles are written by various Mirror journalists. His response to a comment I made on twitter "A genuine wide man. And a genuinely good player."

Oh we're doomed doomed as per the OP, meh ;)

I love how we as a club are trying to stick to tradition, but looking for the next Tony Book is something I think we should avoid. I mean how many greats come to the game that late in a career ?

Quite surprising the press are linking us with a lot of right backs. We already have Zabba and Micah plus Savic can play there and also Wabara.
No need at all no matter how good or bad he is.

Hey guys, yo are so ignorant.
Matias Rodriguez is playing in the best team in Sudamerica (uchile is called the "sudamerican barcelona" near to be three-time champ of chilean league, win the sudamericana cup and is in semifinals of the libertadores cup facing with boca juniors), is much better than zabaleta because have a lot of goal, and is recently caped up to the argentinian league playing in a lower division such a chilean).
