Anyone going on this show just to show how they are a good person or have a good personality are lacking in something! Insecurity shallow and thick as two short planks! The whole camp will think he is a kunt! Plus there should be rules if you go on any reality show your sacked and can’t become an Mp for the next 5 years!

The problem with mp’s it’s about a career option not to make changes for the better! They are all in the take and it’s self interest I can’t stand the lot of em!

Whilst I have a lot of sympathy with the first paragraph and recognise what you say in the second paragraph is true about many of them I don't think it's true of all of them by any stretch. I think the huge prevalence of grifters and careerists in the more visible roles in recent cabinets hasn't helped the perception that they are all as bad as each other.

I am currently cursed with an MP who is definitely all about himself but in the past I have lived in places where the MP was really trying to make a difference to people's lives. It is completely understandable that people get cynical about our politicians and we definitely need electoral reform but I don't think the answer is to give up on them. Wherever you are in the world, democracy with its warts and all is a fragile thing to be protected and nurtured. I think we need to get involved and demand better standards and candidates rather than disengage.

Oh agree it’s the seconds jobs the benefits they cream from being in the job! It’s the self voting for an increase in wages which goes through every year with a big increase!

It needs more rules for Mp’s and to become an Mp because the majority of them it is a career move and not how can I make a difference..

Yep, professional politicians, one job only for me, if the MP salary isn't enough, don't do it.

Don’t why someone don’t have it out with him asking him why he thinks it was alright for him to break all Covid rules!

Think a few was very close too doing that , one of them asked him pretty bluntly ‘what are you even doing here? ‘ and Boy George has said, had he lost his Mum during Covid - he would have walked from the show

Would say it’s a difficult balance for them, being on camera, and being the first one to attack him personally and causing upset
