He hasn't come up with the lockdown weather idea. He's been taken in by Pseudoscience 101 - always base your nonsense on a grain of truth, so that the fools who don't understand can look it up, see something vaguely true, and swallow the attached garbage whole.

This is most probably why no bigger club ever went and got him, Southampton needed him for the wonder goals from nowhere and put up with the lunacy.

It all feds into his obsession with being the "Main Character".

Had to be the main man at Southampton. Like you said, other clubs wouldn't put up with any of that.
Any manager that wanted to built a team that was anything other than all about him was an attack against him personally.
Covid was an attack on him personally.
5G is an attack on him personally.
BLM is an attack on him personally.

Now, today, shite weather that we're all used to, is an attack on him personally.

He can't just be going through the same mundane things as everyone else. It has to be an attack against him.
