he's a very good player, to say he's done very little is a bit odd. He was good for atletico!

Lets us not forget he played opposite flank to our own martin petrov, and also suffered a similar long term injury.

I think it will turn out to be one decent bit of business rafa has done in some time!

He was in Spain almost ten yrs and his best season was at Espanyol. Has scored in double figures twice (11 and 15 goals) in that time in all competitions. His overall scoring ratio is 60 goals in 200 games. Not going to be setting the world on fire anytime soon. More like Forlan Mach II.

Well I think he used to be half decent but never world class. This year he's been on the bench for the most part and when he's come on he's been absolute gash! But for free (although I thought it was on loan) he may occasionally be useful, especially for a poor Liverpool side.

I can't help thinking that Raffa has blown his time at Liverpool big style. They should have won the Prem last year but they threw it away and it was entirely Raffa's fault in my eyes. I heard earlier on the radio that Raffa has brought in 70 players since he's been there. Shows he hasn't got a clue who to buy and what to do with them once bought. He struck it lucky with Reina and Torres (lets face it anyone could see they were decent) but most other signings have flopped badly. I think Kuyt is ok too ;) The one other top player he brought in (Alonso) he couldn't see the value of and unsettled him trying to get Barry. Major mistake. As I said, he doesn't know what to do with them when he gets them.
