I was inside the ground, I'll never forget that split second of silence as the ball left his boot, then the primal roar that followed it...amazing amazing moment :)

I have only left early once back at Maine Road v Arsenal we were 4-0 down inside 23 minutes iirc. Went back to the pub and continued to get bladdered
i was on the road with my lad between mary d's and the manchester, it was the loudest cheer i have ever heard, the surreal thing about it was because of the split second time delay i heard the ground erupt 1st then the manchester and then marys, i actually heard the cheer in surrond sound, the antics on that street were eye watering, luckily enough i got into the ground for the trophy parade, what a day

We were inside, in our usual seats just to the left of the goal that he scored in. Inside i wanted to run away at 90 mins i won't lie, but couldn't just couldn't leave them when we were up against it. The lad next to me, fucked off as soon as mackie scored.....

The ten seconds leading up to the goal and then the ball hitting the net were just surreal. I was right at the opposite end of the stadium but there was one huge gasp and then sheer elation. I just let myself fall in to mosh pit of fans going absolutely mental.
