I get the impression the French media is loving this scandal.

He isn't exactly flavour of the month since the stories the French football federation have allegedly agreed to Real Madrid's request to pick and choose when he can play for the national team.

It’s because they are so arrogant and think money can get them out of any bother. The amount of drug tests failed is covered up by long term injuries and swept under the carpet. All drug test results should be made public knowledge to keep the game real and transparent

Lots of people stand to lose money if Mbappe allegations are proven.

His PR team will be firefighting any damage to protect their brand. Which probably explains how little coverage it's getting outside of France.
