30 years of driving up and down from Cornwall and the most noticeable thing has been the transition into this fast food shit. As years went by, the best stop points at service stations got replaced by the above shit. Ironically, it seems like the fast food chains are starting to be phased out of the US hotspots as more come chains come into England.

Gloucester services on the M5 is still a decent place to stop, but most places are pretty soulless these days.

Remember when the services sold proper breakfast ..... trays of sausage, bacon, eggs, etc etc under hot lights

You'd eat the lot before you got to the cash register and just pay for a brew.
