On 15 September 2016, the Club incurred a second Whereabouts strike.
On 27 January 2017, the Club admitted the Charge and submitted correspondence seeking to explain the incidents and respond to the points raised by The FA. The Club submitted that there had been some administrative errors with regard to the first and third strikes and that this was directly related to new management being in place at the time. This resulted in a period of adjustment for the players and staff to new training regimes and systems. With regard to the second strike, the Club submitted that they had grounds to challenge this strike on the basis that on the evening of 31 August 2016, when Club personnel left the Club, all information relating to the player was correct. This point was not accepted by The FA who submitted that the records had in fact not been updated for eight (8) days after the player had moved address. It would appear that the Club despite considering there were grounds to challenge, in the interest of saving time and costs for all parties accepted the Charge.

I believe Oakie has grassed us up for having players park outside the white lines at the club car park and the FA are currently deciding wherever a points deduction or relegation to league 2 is the most suitable punishment..

Think what's annoying most fans is that we just seem to be accepting all that goes on without fighting our corner. The owners are bothered about the financial rewards on offer so shouldn't we be trying to make sure we get a fair rub of the green. The more we win the bigger the sponsorship deals and fans etc the more wealthy the club becomes.

We appealed Aguero's suspension for the Reid incident, we appealed Fernandinho's red against Burnley. Pep reportedly had a meeting with Mike Riley. We are fighting our corner.

From the anti doping charge :

Manchester City broke the Football Association's anti-doping rules three times in less than five months, the governing body has said.

The Premier League club also failed to take notice of a written warning sent three weeks before the final breach.

City were fined £35,000 last month but the written reasons have now been released.

A first-team player missed a test on 1 September 2016 because the hotel address provided was no longer correct.

In addition, City also failed to inform the FA of an extra first-team training session on 12 July 2016, while anti-doping officials were unable to test reserve players on 7 December, 2016 because six of them had been given the day off without the FA being informed.

Clubs are required to provide accurate details of training sessions and player whereabouts so they are available for testing at all times.

If clubs fail to provide this information - or testers are unable to find the players they are looking for - three times in a rolling 12-month period then they are deemed to have breached the rules.

The final breach on 7 December occurred despite the FA writing to City on 14 November to remind them clubs must notify the governing body if five or more players in a particular squad are given a day off from a scheduled session.

They were also warned in writing after the second strike in September.

City told the FA the two training-session breaches were "administrative errors" related to the club's new management team under Pep Guardiola being unfamiliar with the system.

An independent regulatory commission hearing was critical of City's failure to meet their obligations and heed warnings.

"It is no less concerning that in this case, despite the club being made aware of their breaches on two previous occasions [and] the resources available to the club, they failed to deal with these and implement a system to correct this," it said.

Manchester City have accepted a Football Association charge of failing to "ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" during Sunday's game against Liverpool.

It followed an incident "in or around the 50th minute" of the 1-1 draw, when referee Michael Oliver gave the Reds a penalty, penalising Gael Clichy for a raised boot on Roberto Firmino.

The case will be heard by an independent regulatory commission.

James Milner scored from the spot.

Milner's goal gave Liverpool the lead but Sergio Aguero ensured City took a point from a thrilling draw at Etihad Stadium.

Both Clichy and David Silva were booked after Oliver pointed to the spot.
