Tell you what mate I wouldn't mind the 6-1 and the QPR games if you don't mind?

Let me make some new torrents for them then, just rolling a j and i will do that, post back here so you will see my reply and it doesn't just edit this post :)

Not exclusively a documentary about us, more an interesting insight into the place of football in English society in the late 1950s. We feature as the visitors to Spurs and sport an unusual yellow shirt.

The brilliant Dutch documentary called "Manchester City Has The Trophy" (about our title-winning season) has been taken off YouTube and I can't find it.

But this is a good one:

Cheers folks - much appreciated!

Another thing, anyone know anything about putting VHS onto DVDs? I've got loads of old videos (season reviews from 80'/90's, 3-1 derby, play off final etc.) that would be good to get onto DVD.

You need a couple of cables to a vhs player, i can supply the software.
Companies do this, but for many vids it would cost a lot.

Sick swan coming up :)

Any idea what year it aired screamer ?

<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide_%28TV_programme%29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide ... ogramme%29</a>

Couldn't find anything online but imagine Gary James is the man!
It was the late 70's pre Allison comeback - so it was Channon / Barnes / Owen etc
I had the Nationwide City brochure (or programme) - I think they covered City for the whole year and each ''inside the club'' segment was shown one Monday in the month. At the time it was regarded as the most access given to the media by a club (with Swales holding court, of course!)
The inside back of the brochure had the entire staff at the club (players and backroom / laundry / groundstaff / ticket office etc) stood outside the main entrance (Swales at the front) and then on the next page each figure blacked out with a number and name next to it.

Saturday's Heroes it was called. I've never seen any footage of that other than the original airing. Would be great to have another look at that. I'm sure there was some kind of Nationwide football skills competition tied in with the program also.

There was the famous Granada documentary called CITY! In 1980-81 and before that there was the Nationwide programme. That was actually 1976-77, a couple of years before Allison's return, and its main story, or at least the one that got most focus was Colin Bell's fight to return to action. Since 77 it's not been broadcast and we tried to get hold of it to show in the MCFC film show 'the boys in blue' at Cornerhouse, but couldn't find it via the BBC collection at the time.

We did show other great stuff like the profile on Peter Swales from 1976 - very interesting! And interviews with Mercer, Book, Bond etc. we'll be doing another showing of this in March - Moore details in the new year.

See how I lined it up for you Gary!
And thanks MRB - yes saturday's Heroes.
I recall the one episode of Bell pounding the streets of Fallowfield on his own and another of the players at southport or Blackpool beach training.

Been Googling the Dutch documentary of when we won the league in 2012

No success.

The footage I've seen shows Sergio (looking beautiful!!) and Lakey telling it exactly how it is!!
Youtube have pulled all links...........can anybody help me watch/download this so I can cry - I mean watch it a few times!!

Cheers!!
