Yeah, the section is sort of hidden away from the Liverpool section so I guess it's a hide out of the sensible posters! A bit like on BM really ;o)Balti said:Blue Smarties said:Can't resist a good giggle at the scousers.

Then again you've got a few sensible ones here.
Some decent posts in there. How about this one:
''Don't know how City will play now.
De Jon is like a god among their fans and arguably their best big game player.
Yaya has been very decent so far and so has been Silva...so those 3 are nailed on to start.
---------------Hart---------------
Richards--Kolo-Komp---AK--
-------------NJD---------------
-------??-----------------------
---------------Yaya------------
----Silva-----------------------
-----------------Tevez--------
----------Dzeko---------------
this is how they set up most of the times. Yaya is more offensive minded and usually Barry plays between NJD and Yaya.
well IMO, Barry is crap, but apparently he does well against small teams.
I guess the ?? spot goes to one of Barry or Milner.
Balo and Johnson rotate occasionally with Dzeko/Tevez/Silva.
Any faults in that team?
Their GK is very good
Kompany is the second best CB in the league IMO
Toure, thought not as good as before, is still a decent player at the back.
NJD is a c*nt, but a good player
Yaya is immense
Silva a joy to watch
Tevez and Dzeko both world class
it only leaves the full backs.
so far Koralov has looked very shaky and Zabaleta has been their best fullback. Ricahards can be brilliant at times, but is still average in the end. he isn't spectacular neither defensively nor offensively.
in that 4-3-3 formation you need an attack minded full back, thus Mancini chasing Dani Alves. IMO, They need to buy a world class RB (offensive minded) to have a complete team.
they have the perfect players to cover for him when he gets forward''
He's forgotten Boeteng but then on the showings so far and as Richards played v Arsenil I guess thats understandable!
I agree with the man. The FB's remain our potential 'weakest link' for the moment. If and when Kolarov and Boeteng come good then we have one hell of a team.
Anyway, I also enjoyed this one (directed at someone making the "another striker" jibe) -
I dont really understand this. City play with one off the top man. Tevez comes far too deep to be that top man, so he will inevitably become the man playing off Dzeko/Balotelli. These two will be rotated, as I dont think Balotelli seems fully 100% fit anyway. The only out and out strikers they have will be Dzeko/Balotelli and maybe at a push JO, because Ade and Santa Cruz are out on there way. Considering there still in europe, it makes perfect sense to sign Dzeko, and the whole "oh thats another striker" argument is nonsense. If anything it just makes midfield more crowded as Yaya will most likely no longer play in behind the striker. Which is a pity because hes a beast.
