Media bias against City

The prose style is appalling, as well. You can tell he's trying to sound clever from the way he uses non-standard words for the context. Unfortunately, if you don't know what they mean, you sound like a twat, especially when the first one is six words in. He has no idea how to construct an argument, either. Repeating ad nauseam that City are fucked if the Sheikh leaves doesn't actually mean he'll leave. I presume Forbes give him space because he'll write for free in a desperate attempt to get his name known. They can't be paying for that shit, surely?
His professed specialism is fringe sports - like football. Big competence clue there.

I can't believe Forbes published that.. the quality of writing reminded me of the articles I wrote for my school newspaper when I was 12.

I like the use of rhetorical questions in an attempt to imply dodgy dealings.

"This is the influence of individuals who bring artificial and unnatural capital to leagues that otherwise rely on steadfast ticket sales through loyal fans."

That's the PL for you, entirely dependent on ticket sales.

If only some TV companies would buy the rights to show PL games live. You'd think there would be a market for it.

By the way, is Frankie Goes To Hollywood still at number one?

Did we just get a great result at a so called European fortress or did I imagine it.

Rags this, rags that, greatest defence ever, LVG is God, Shrek is a world beater....

Gillette Soccer Special tonight and Schmeical was covering the rags game. I expected some bias but fuck me he was painful! Paul Walsh covering us on the other hand seemed totally underwhelmed and couldn't give a toss. When Shrek scored u would think they won the final the way Stelling was going off.

Sky sports website was running with Rooney rescues Utd but someone has had a bollocking because it lasted all of 5 mins before it was changed to Rooney raises Utd spirits pmsl.

BBC sport leading with a picture of the granny shagger, reminds we of when we won in Munich......wankers
BBC had a chance to show that there's more than one English team playing tonight, but I suppose our win was a routine win against a side who have never lost at home to English oppenents ever until now, where as far play the rags where up against one of the top powerhouses in Europe and got a result well done unbiased reporting from the bastard broadcasting corporation...

Through gritted teeth where Savage is concerned

They had the evening well and truly set up with us falling on our arse and them telling us all how they told us we would.

Cunts and i for one am not falling for any of their false and scant praise.

Having read the pre match thread, there's not only the media talking shite. We have plenty of fans quick to offer opinion as fact.

The funny thing is, most of our fans will rightly slag idiots like Arry Wedknapp off, Savage et al, yet then the moment the manager leaves out 1 player and plenty are then sharing the opinion they ridicule.
