Media bias against City

Where exactly is the hysteria surrounding Di Maria who didn't even bother turning up for a pre season tour and the manager has no idea why, why not criticism of Van Gaal's managerial style when he has also ostracised a world renowned goalkeeper in Victor Valdes when he knows that his main keeper De Gea is desperate to leave for Madrid.

When you contrast this with the furore and hate whipped up for Sterling who had the temerity to have an interview to put across his point of view on contract discussions the treatment couldn't be more different.

Where is the criticism of Di Maria's behaviour, where is the comment and analysis of 'why' he is so desperate to leave the rags ? It is conspicuous by its absence. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

Shame this thread is no longer about the 'agenda' because the issue of media bias is not even open for debate.

Can you imagine the negative media frenzy if we had an Argentinian player go walkabout and the club did'nt know where he was?.........Oh, hang on

Don,t think that helps the site.

Why would clicking on a media link help this place? The site earns money from ads and anyone clicking on those ads. Unless a newspaper is advertising in one of the ad banners, the site won't make a penny. Not clicking on any links posted by members won't make a difference except to the coffers of people who's site you are clicking on.

Unless they all predicted we will finish 4th (I think - maths isn't my strong point).
That means not one of them thinks we'll finish higher than 4th. Alternatively it was something like 3 predicted 3rd and 4 predicted 4th.

Bizarre whatever. There is simply no way that the rags, with no attack and no defence to speak of, will finish anyway close to us.

Arsenal are more of a threat these days so I could see how someone might have us as third, at a pinch.

Manchester City have sent striker Enes Unal on loan to Belgian side Genk for two seasons - just weeks after signing the Turkey international from Bursaspor.

The 18-year-old made three appearances during City's pre-season tour of Australia, but will now spend two years in the Jupiler League in the hope of regular first-team football.

Unal, who has one senior international cap, scored 24 goals in 25 games for Turkey's under-16 side and in 2013.

Work permit issues so he can't play in England but they use it as a 'wasted' buy so he can have first team football. Off Sky sports this - dickheads
