Media bias against City

BBC mobile homepage this morning has United's 1-0 win as a headline under 'latest sport'. We are nowhere to be seen.

You must be looking at a different BBC mobile homepage to me, mine says "Slick City reach Champions league last 16", and another piece below that mentions that United also managed a narrow late win.

Do you have some kind of special pessimistic misery seeker version of this app which is only available to "Media Bias" thread dwellers?

We didn't have ANY media coverage of the games in the lunchtime news breaks - they were all about the All Blacks and their victory parade in Auckland. Became a real bore after 5 minutes.

How disgraceful, bringing the World Cup home in your national support taking priority over a soccer club 11,000 miles away?!

I think it was made easier for him to praise by the way we played tonight - we play like we did tonight, and they will give us all the praise we desire

I agree with this.
I think he just wants watchable football, and when a side plays well, he's positive.
Drury on the other hand was predictably and reliably Drury - the foot of the post save from Hart (left side again!) didn't even get a mention from him.

Slick City reach Champions league last 16. That's the same BBC page I got as well.

I know Football 365 tends to have a fairly tongue in cheek approach to headlines, but saw this after last nights victory...

"Sevilla 1-3 Manchester City: Last 16 exit to Barca?"
Sounds like a blues sense of humour that.

Had to listen to the Dutch commentary last night. Since TT and his Dutch army entered the scum is't been all ragnews over here.
However, yesterday the commentator praised us. It felt like he was overdoing it. I accepted the sheer disappointment in his voice, but credit to the guy. He must have felt hartbroken not to be chosen to cover the rags. And now even had to speak out how well we were playing. God it must have hurt him.

As for the British media covering this morning ... let's put WHATEVER on the back of the BOO-signs.
