Media bias against City

For those who think there is no bias against City watch out this week in the run up to the Derby. I can bet you there will be stories galore of Pellegrinin will be gone in the summer, unrest in our camp, etc whilst all is good at United top manager, players bought into the "filloshofee"", buying world class players etc

Nothing else to de yesterday morning so watched first hour of Sunday supplement .... We did not get a single mention whilst they waffled about Top 4

Then I went to Sunday Times online and again we didn't get a mention in the football section

Maybe being ignored is better than being talked or written about !!!!!!

Nowt to do with us being one of only two of the (as of now) top half of the table who hadn't yet played at the time of the programme (Spurs being the other one)? Just a thought.

I don't mind all that in the run up to a derby, same as the rags start mouthing off about finishing above us. it all works in our favour - keep our heads down, concentrate on the football and go out and win the match.

They've won 5 on the bounce and we've lost 2 of our last 4.

All I'm going to say is the press have a lot of pent up anger because we have won something like 10 derbies in the last 11.

If the shite do win next week it will be like a national week of celebration in the tabloids so don't go picking up a paper.

haha how weak is this post. Defending an anti city stance with bullshit. you should stick to postin gifs of women which you are far better at.

Another poster on here mentioned something to me when we dropped to 4th on Saturday.

He reminded me that all season for Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal it's been about finishing in the Top 4.

He predicted it wouldn't be long before the "Top 3 automatic CL spot" was mentioned in specific relation to us.

I had the Watford game on earlier and sure enough the commentator said something along the lines of:

"Man City at Palace tonight, no longer challenging for the title, but now fighting for an automatic top 3 spot, otherwise they have to qualify for the CL..."

Now whilst I accept this to be factually true, this has not been mentioned all season about any other team this year. Only seems to apply to us when we're flirting with 4th place.

Probably just another unfortunate co-incidence.
