Gets tiring the City cant fill their stadium\sell tickets etc. Last night on Talksport on the Press Pass Paddy Barclay was at it saying City expanding stadium but have trouble selling their existing 48,000 seats, whereas Arsenal have a 60,000 stadium they fill each game. I bet when people watch on TV they do not realise that often the large gaps behind the goal in the South Stand are away allocation. Most clubs of course hide away away fans up in a corner somewhere.

Interesting when West Ham have a 54,000 stadium from 2016\2017 season onwards, after the novelty of the first few months\season, if they will fill it out all the time. Similarly with Spurs when they build a new stadium.

All teams now have games when there are empty seats, yet it seems only City have this pointed out when they play.

Cannot blame any fans not going if cost is simply to great. Anyone with tickets who cannot go to any particular game should try and pass it on whenever possible.
The notion of a middle aged sports journalist, earning circa £100k pa, questioning the business strategy of one of the best advised and successful businessmen in the world is truly fucking comical.

I know whose judgment I reckon will prevail.
if your saying Barclay is middle aged and on such a good salary i think you may be mistaken
he's very much yesterday's man

however the point you make is absolutely correct, i'd take HRH ideas over the scottish lickspittle any day of the week
As ever, I was being courteous and generous.

Patrick Barclay is a prize tit. Relegated to a regional newspaper he manages to get tv a radio appearances based on the tripe he constantly spews up.

When the Pep story broke they barely gave it a mention and it warranted a small space half way down the web page.

Funnily enough he says he is staying at Bayern today and boom, headline news with us being turned down etc etc etc.

Fucking Rag c**ts!

I posted just that (in between 6,000 gifs) yesterday. The press wrote the story to sell advertising and then get a second bite when he says he is staying.

THE FACT THAT WE NEVER FUCKNG ASKED HIM IS IRRELEVANT

I'm watching the Arsenal game and there's loads of empty seats. The Emirates is nowhere near full, but I bet you won't hear anything in the media about it.

Of course you won't. You also won't hear anything about Arsenal's lack of spirit or togetherness at throwing second place away. Or how much money they've spent in the last two seasons to do it.

Four weeks ago the press were foaming at the mouth at our demise. Even this Saturday those four cunts on Soccer Saturday were telling each other how shit we'd been this season and yet we could very well end up finishing second.

If we do, the silence will be fucking deafening.

More Daily Fail propaganda.

It really has excelled this season at pushing it's Anti-City, pro-United agenda.

Funnily enough they don't mention that the Rags key players – Shrek 29, Carrick 33, Mata 27, Fellaini 27, Van Pussy 31... not to mention Falcao 29 (yeah right)! Take those out of the Rags squad and they'd struggle to finish top half!

Also got Valencia and Young - both 29, add to that new players Herrera, Blind and Rojo are all 25.

And the only reason why they played their younger players was due to injuries to their senior players.

I'm surprised the Fail didn't include 21 year old Memphis Depay as well. Another youth player who's come through their famous youth academy at a cost of £25mill-£30mill.

It's very noticeable how the narrative changed when we were odds on for second: "pathetic defence of the championship again"
to "best placed finish in a decade" when Arsenal were favourites. Now I suppose we're back to "pathetic defence of the championship".
