Current articles in the Daily Telegraph:

Who Arsenal could face in the Champions League?
Who Chelsea could face in the Champions League?
Who United could face in the Champions League?
Who Liverpool could face in the Champions League?

I can only guess they will do one on us tomorrow.
QED.

Or rather, "quod non erat demonstandum"
Who Man City could face was the lead story at 7p.m (look at newsnow). Obviously not enough 'clicks' so they have, in that lazy journalistic way they do, substituted Liverpool for Man City.
They are also running a story titled, "Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City handed tough Champions League draw". No mention of Liverpool (although they do say "whoever qualifies").
" It's strange how paranoia can link up with reality now and then". (Phillip K Dick).

Look Elwood, the fact that you are not paranoid does not mean you are not being followed

The blues brothers and sisters that show evidence of the press roaches attempts against City are not paranoid, just that they do not have their heads buried in the sand nor up fleet street hacks arses.

After Pellegrini unbelievably not winning manager of the year last season we now have this...

Leading premiership goal scorers

Sergio = 20
Kane = 20
Costa = 19

Guess which one of the 3 is not a nominee for PFA player of the season

And this despite also being out injured for a number of months.

I'm not sure that we are in disagreement here. I only have an issue with an agenda not in believing there is an anti City bias. One suggests that there is some conspiracy to stop City at all costs, involving Eufa, FIFA, the premier league, referees Uncle Tom Cobly and all and one that journalists are paid to write bullshit.
The daily mail and their ilk make up stories about everything, everyday. Stories that will appeal to their readers. Why people expect journalists to be bastions of truth when it comes to football is unfathomable. They lie about everything else.
They have spent years convincing people about the 'sky 4's preeminence and have cultivated those relationships to the exclusion of everything and everyone else. Everton pop in for a season, as do Spurs and they get a pat on the head because the media easy life gravy train is not challenged.
Along come City and a few quid and everything changes. Not one season wonders like the others. All of a sudden their easy, lazy, work life is under threat. They are driven by fear.
I for one, enjoy their feeble attempts at keeping City in their place and I hope we never become part of their cozy little club and we never feel part of the establishment looking down on everyone else.

The one who missed most of December and half of January through injury?

And I'm sure a journalist on Sunday supplement(it could have been radio or another programme) said mourinho was in line to get manager of the year if they win the double...
What a fuckin surprise.

What a fuckin surprise.

Is Pellegrini the only manager ever to win a league and cup double and not win Manager of the Year?

Mind you, after hearing someone the other day touting Shaun Dyche for MOTY it probably should be treated with the contempt it deserves. I mean, how can you actually do worse than finishing 20th FFS!!

I couldn't agree the more, you just nailed it. Hectic morning this was.

SSN at it with their contrived stats again this morning.

"Since January 10, @MCFC would find themselves in 10th place in the @premierleague table with 18 points. #SSNHQ" Let's ignore the first 5 and a half months of the season then. Who picks January 10th as a milestone date? I could accept in 2015, but this would mean having to add in another 6 points from the 2 games played before January 10th.

.@MCFC have lost six of their last nine games in all competitions. #SSNHQ. Again, 9 games? Not 10? Oh the next one back was a 5-0 win against Newcastle. No let's make it 9 and ALL competitions so we can include 2 games against Barcelona.

A more relevant stat might have been our home league form when previewing the Villa game but that doesn't look too bad does it?

The other week when un***d played before us and could go above us, it was on a rolling 10min loop. "Manchester un***d can go above Manchester City in the league table today". They're not running a similar story today though.
