In defence: the cause of this isn't Goldenshite's obsessive vacuous need to shove his gurning mug in front of every camera, but it was a promo event for Unicef.

Sadly, it's billed and sold as Saint Goldenshite's Saintly Wonderfulness, and therefore gets primetime billing. Rarely has someone been less able to read a script convincingly.

I often think there's not enough United related documentaries on the BBC these days. It feels a bit like we're being a bit short changed on our licence fees with only the features on Rooney, Ferguson, the class of 92, and Beckham this year.
