The fact we never heard from carragher after the 2nd goal shows you all you need to know about sky and the rest. Brought him in just to be a rent a gob for Liverpool if we dropped points, I guarantee he would of been in that studio had we dropped points.

I accept pundits may show bias but at least to show some objectivity with insights, even if prejudiced. The current hegemony of Liverpool and United pundits has become beyond a joke where their views are based on their self importance, 'istory and perceived rivalry and little else. It smacks of favouritism and cronyism. Where is the variety and balance?

The same with some commentators who by definition provide a commentary. Too often it can sound like a fanzone for certain clubs. TV ignores incidents that do not fit the story whilst those that do are repeated ad nauseum. Interviewers are equally as selective.

Gary Neville started well but reverted to type after his management failure. "Spit" squeaky Carragher was reinstated after his transgression unlike Trevor Sinclair. Where do I start with others? Michael Owen?

We are in a media age where it is so easy to flood social media and comments to give the impression of popular opinion so we do need views from people who are identified.

My current favourite pundit pairing is Steve Nicol (surprisingly objective for an ex dipper) and Shaka Hislop. Foriegn stations have a more eclectic mix of pundits. Nice to see Nigel de Jong as a City pundit on the derby.

Disappointed on Sky when Sane scores that 2nd last night was something else. "Sterling to Sane. 2:0" (funeral type of voice).

Definitely. But what a show it was in the studio after. Adding spitty would have ruined it

I don't watch or listen to any of these pundits, not a single one, if I watch a live game the sound is down, I cannot be doing with the cronyism, undisguised bias and utter shit they spout... I'm actually still enjoying the games I watch... Most games in the local you can't hear the wankers anyway .....
This sounds just like me....the game is more enjoyable....I don’t watch the build up or half time if watching on TV, just the game and just for kicks I will watch them squirm after the game if we win like last night, watching Keane and Neville was comedy gold, it was just missing the horrible scouse **** which would have made it a classic
