I haven't checked, does anybody know if the media are slating Londons biggest team for getting 33000 at home in a league game last night?

Think the fans are pissed of with going to wembely but that is 18k down on the reduced attendances of 51k seeing that they have a waiting list of over 100k it is poor but wouldn’t slate any fans for not going to £60 game

The leading sport story as continually repeated on the BBC's 5live news (as read by Hugh Ferris) is a story about Jose Mourinho's Manchester United reporting them having a heavy fixture schedule this month and being depleted by injuries.

In reality Manchester United currently have less injured players than all the top 6 clubs other than Chelsea
(source: https://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php ).

Additionally they have less fixtures this month than all the top 6 teams other than Liverpool, (because both Manchester United and Liverpool were knocked out of the EFL cup).

The BBC continue with their obsession about them. We pay for such tripe.

I am certainly not slating any fans. This is the 'media thread' and was only asking if they were being treated the same as we were by the media.

Read an article earlier about a state connected to a Manchester football club who have had a foreign national arrested on trumped up charges which, true or not, are clearly a dick-swinging power play between nations which has fuck all to do with football:

Been busy since then, but just online now and settling down with a cup of tea to read all the opinion pieces in the national media denouncing the football club involved. See you in a few hours.

Oh.

Oh.
I'm pretty sure you know you won't find any. As one of the Chinese comments mentioned about Canada, we are just the same. Americas dog.

Strange how the narrative changes. It has been all about how teams need to give it to City, strong challenges, let them know you are there etc.
After an injury to Liverpool player, and on the advice of Here Kloop, today is about protecting the players, duty of care etc.

There wasn't even anything wrong with that challenge, it was just pure bad luck that their back legs tangled. 999/1000 Gomez doesn't even lose his footing.
