The Mirror this morning

29.51mm could be the difference between winning and losing the title

They will ignore all that we have done and go with the dippers were robbed

If we win it of course

The new narrative is how technology is helping City win the championship this season. It's happened twice ffs and both decisions correct, unbelievable bullshit that gets peddled and simpleton rags and scousers lap it all up.

I would like to know if the back page Pep quotes today in the Daily Mail are anywhere else, certainly not that I have seen in a variety of titles.

They describe Pep as bullish and the quotes seem VERY OUT OF CHARACTER...not to mention, disrespectful. Totally took his words out of context.

"Against Leicester, one of the most talented teams right now, we are going to get three more points. Then go to Brighton to get the win, the points we need to get back-to-back. Be calm again, we don't have a game until next Monday so we'll rest a little, recover a bit."

Manchester Evening News version: "Now it is two games, be calm again. We will rest and recover a bit and against Leicester - one of the most talented teams right now - we are going to (TRY TO) get three more points to go to Brighton to get the points we need to get back-to-back titles."

As someone who had to learn verbatim shorthand in court hearings, it is evidently clear to me that either the writer or the sub-editor has twisted the Pep quotes.

It's fucking not on and City should be right on the bastards.

The Daily Mail back page intro is Pep Guardiola was bullish. The entire premise of the piece is stood on them turning it.

If I was Brendan Rodgers, no team talk would be required on reading that.
It's what he said word for word in the post match press conference. Watched it on YouTube last night. From 1:40

Now the Fail are going with how the dippers 91pt haul would have won them the title in in 33 of the last 37 titles. By my reckoning about 10 of those being the old First Division title but never mind eh.

Do you really think if the shoe was on the other foot there would be doing articles like this about us? Would they f*ck!

Please, Please, Please City see this season through just so I can watch them all make absolute pricks of themselves with this kind tripe.

It's weird, around this time last year, you couldn't open a paper or check a sports site without seeing an article about how we weren't the greatest PL team of all time because we had to defend our title for that to be true. Now we stand on the verge of doing that and there does not seem to be hundreds of articles stating we are on the verge of now being the greatest PL team of all time? Weird that, presumably they just don't want to jinx it

I would like to think the media hate the dippers as much as us and have been bigging them up in such a sickening fashion in the hope they fail. Then they can rightly laud us from the rooftops as we have gone and done just what we had to do to become the great team we quite clearly wasn't after one good season.

I have every reason to believe I am wrong.

They constantly move the goal posts,if we win it will be but they have to win the CL before they are a great team, the state of the UK footbal media has never been worse
