"Fraction of the budget"
That reasoning would stop at Leicester
I'd love to see the same table with current real squad values

Point is it's not our fault if they didn't win the league before our money came in,he is ignoring that,if we win the title then they should know their place all over againBecause they knew their place.
They were up against the rags and the piss can who had the league pretty much sewn up before a ball was kicked.
Haha.Aldridge full on bitter Kopite gobshite mode.
Aldridge believes Liverpool's achievement of keeping the pace with a side that has benefited from the biggest finial investment in the history of the English game is commendable, as he suggest City's route to success is ‘unpleasant'.
"When you consider the advantages City have had over Liverpool with the ridiculous money that has been pumped into that club over the last 10 years and more, Klopp has produced a minor miracle to build a team with a fraction of the budget and match them blow for blow," he adds.
"Manchester United fans will disagree, but I bet most football fans would prefer to see a Liverpool side that have built a team with money generated by the club's shrewd business dealings end up as champions rather than a City team who have been propelled to the top of the game because of money from oil-rich owners.
"Pep Guardiola is a great manager and City are a fine team, but there will always be something unpleasant about a rich guy winning a contest over a less fortunate rival and that is what we have here.
"Throw in the fact that most teams City play roll over and have their tummy rubbed by them as they are scared stiff of taking them on and I can only commend this Liverpool team for what they have achieved.
He's an absolute cockwomble.

He speaks like the candle lovers haven't spent a penny on there squad
I wonder if he found Liverpool's perennial plundering of Southampton of their best players to be just as "unpleasant".
Some of them really are a breed apart.
Chelsea at City in February! My exact analysis of the way Huddersfield played at Anfield on Friday. Has a team ever caved in so early and so completely as Huddersfield did in that game ? Aldridge has always talked total bollocks which is presumably why he writes for the Dipper Echo.
I agree with you.Point is it's not our fault if they didn't win the league before our money came in,he is ignoring that,if we win the title then they should know their place all over again
Chelsea at City in February!
At my age they’d kill me!
