Manchester City and Liverpool's epic title race was decided by millimetres and seconds

TL;DR — City won because Liverpool are great

Millimetres and seconds, orchestrated by the FA and PL.
I’m getting sick of this stupid “stat” it totally disregards many other match winning/match losing moments throughout the season for both teams.
I’ve had about 10 mouth breathers say it to me since yesterday.

Same.

That’s not even accounting for branching causality, meaning if those things had happened differently, there is also no way of knowing if other things would have happened differently leading to our eventually winning the league, as well. E.g. there is no evidence that, had Stones been just short clearing the shot of the line, we would not have then increased effort and intensity to go on and win that match anyway.

It’s an absolutely stupid argument all-around, as it can also be applied to the many, many fortunate events befalling Liverpool over the season.

Did we win the title yesterday achieving back to back titles, something no other team has managed in ten years???? I ask because I just checked the mails sports pages and the only story on us is about ten articles down and is about City fan's altercation with Neville. The times led on Liverpool's glorious failure, not our success and I haven't checked the rest yet.

That s is how the fuckers work. Deny us coverage and downplay our achievements if they mention them at all. Fuck them, I hope we keep on ruining their shit publications headlines for years to come!
