Do you think they are beginning to see this for what it is? I can't see your average fan viewing Utd as the champion of the little man in any circumstances.
It’s a tough one to call.
Those with longer memories than the Twitter generation will remember the way United and Fergueson rode rough shod over all other clubs and refs in the PL era.
Cherry picking the best players from any clubs that got near them and for constantly berating the refs for not giving him what he wanted.

Some will have looked on with envy, some will have hated what they did, especially as they were so arrogant about it.
Then you have Liverpool, enough said “European Royalty”, who in their royal pomp got us all banned for 5 years and tainted for a lot longer.

Some clubs have tried to get a benefactor but FFP has put a stop to the dream of others. The CL money has distorted competition and a lot have finally begun to see that.

Had to call into work yesterday, in Cardiff, for the first time for a month. Was expecting a shit storm about the “leaks”. Instead the only conversation I had was with a colleague about how good the game on Wednesday was and another who said he went to the Swansea game last year to watch Silva, Aguero and KdB.

It's impossible to know of course. That's why it's just anecdotal. But when United/Liverpool fans moan about it, you do see a lot of fans of other clubs telling them where to go. So maybe. But there's obviously going to be no special love for City, why would there be, after all?
I think fans from clubs that aren’t affiliated to the entitled mob just appreciate that they’re witnessing football at it’s finest. They’re not arsed how it’s came about, it’s just a treat to watch. Their team has never and won’t ever be up there so it’s best to sit back and admire the show. Rags, dippers, gooners and chavs have been there and it hurts to have it taken away.
Shakespeare once said, “better to have loved and lost than to never have loved”.........he was wrong.

In addition, there's the hope it can happen to them. And that FFP is specifically there to stop that.

Merson thinks we will hit a team for ten before the end of the season. The rest of the sky panel think the same. Lol
I pondered the same thing and started a thread about it but plenty of posters (and they were correct) doubted it would happen because we seem to drop a gear when we feel the game is won. I’d like us to make an exception on Sunday though. There’s an international break coming up and I’d like to see us going completely balls out and relentless. I understand that Mourinho will say 12-0 is disrespectful and a couple of the goals were borderline offside and his team had to travel across 6 time zones to return from deepest, darkest Italy but it is what it is.

I’m not a greedy man, and would happily settle for nine on Sunday.

It's alright to reach peak pre derby city bashing the Gaurduan have n article on Amnesty internation and our owners 'sportswashing' of their regieme

Exactly. We all know that City are where they are because of huge investment. It's the pretence the others never had the same that is laughable.
Correct, it is the financial means to allow any business to grow until it becomes self sustaining by generating its own profits.
To deny its need is aa barrier to entry and in any other industry is an illegal cartel.

Not really a fan of megathreads, but the BBC and Sky "bias" threads were becoming a bit general and often covering the same points so thought it would make sense to keep it all in one thread.

I watched them in Leeds last year, they were ok, but not really a fan of them either.

Just read examiner , very good read.

Just heard the bt sports presenter (Jake Humphrey’s?) say “spurs are now 2 points off the team at the, and level with Chelsea and Liverpool”, so the Centurions have quickly become the Unmentionables
