The issue with pundits spouting crap is that a Joe in the street will be repeating it tomorrow, and slowly it becomes the accepted truth, as did the no technique stories for Sterling, even some of our fans started believing it.

Same with the obsession with playing youth as though they'd love nothing more than us to win the league but with Foden and Sancho playing more minutes than everyone else. When in reality its just bait to beat us with that gives them clicks and allows other fans to vent their frustration at the big bullys city cause it's not fair we keep winning :-(

If during this time United have a miraculous turn around and win the league and champions league with City and Chelsea being prevented from singing players, can we do the Mard arse moral ground standing by saying we don’t recognise their achievements.

To be fair, Henke, I think that example of tribalism is *especially* representative of much of current society (even well outside of football). And I don’t necessarily see myself (or you, or we blues in general) as exempt from it.
