Nope, just blocks people and RT's other idiots who agree with her.

She mocked united fans over Barcelona tickets a few weeks ago.

They seem to forget that
Disgusting,
I can’t believe people like her are gainfully employed to peddle such shit and annoy people.

The utter fucking state of ‘journalism’ and sports reporting in England really is embarrassing

That's why I have a problem with people like her. If they're going to use media such as social media to their own ends, they can't start crying when it goes tits up. Not suggesting the nasty comments are necessary but you chose it, so man up and get on with it.

Agreed: Live by the sword, die by the sword

Going to vent a little on the TV situation in Ireland.

For those of us here who don't have Sky or the terrestrial British channels (which to be fair is probably well under half the population) - then there is no Premier League football; and apart from League of Ireland, the only cub soccer is mid week Champions League.

For me this has been a bit of a problem - as the young lad wants to watch City, but the local channels would show Liverpool or Man U playing a Moldovan pub team in a second leg fixture where they where already 12-0 up from the first leg before they'd show City. Its because of all the middle aged fans that grew up when Ronnie Whelan / Roy Keane were the local idols. In this cohort, City probably have the same size fanbase as maybe Leeds or Aston Villa.

This year we have an interesting situation where the two main local channels - RTE and Virgin - are going head to head against each other on Champions league night. Don't know why.

So tonight - we have Liverpool vs Porto on RTE; and we have City vs Spurs on Virgin. it will be interesting to see which gets higher viewing. A lot of dads will want to watch Liverpool. A lot of kids will want to watch Spurs and City.

I imagine it'll be Liverpool by a country mile mate. The TV channels know this too, so - like you say - they'd have Liverpol Vs Ludogorets on TV while we're playing Barca. In fact, I think that may have happened in Ireland. It's all about what they can charge for advertising, rather than the actual quality of the game.

Not sure what she was doing before she got into media work but she didn't exactly appear to have earned her big break looking at what I have dug out.

" Approached by Mark Sharman, then deputy head of sport at Sky, at a Ryder Cup dinner,[5]she began working as a production assistant in 1996, before moving on to the position of editorial assistant on Sky Sports."

Not what you know but who you know eh?

That is a really excellent piece which currently sums up the state of our media, especially our state-funded broadcaster. Anyone who doubts the contempt shown to match-going fans by the BBC should seek out the video of Kirsty Gallacher. The fact it was originally posted by the BBC themselves shows how utterly out of touch this organisation is with grass-root football fans which probably explains why Radio 5 Live has lost almost half its audience in the past decade.
In this country we have a media which is mostly populated by affluent and relatively wealthy staff, many of whom (like Kirsty Gallacher) seem to delight in mocking people from less well-heeled backgrounds. It's not banter it's just abuse and the fact she has been heavily criticised by fans of other clubs, including our rivals, tells you everything.

Journalists at yesterday's City press conference missed an potentially huge story which I am very surprised they did not follow up.

Pep's heart must have missed a beat when he heard it but thankfully they all missed it. The fact they didn't is really rather telling.
what was that then?

The fact its predominately the BBC irritates more than any other media outlet, simply because I am forced to fucking pay for it. There jack shit on the BBC that I watch, but i pay a public funded broadcaster that thinks its acceptable for a silver spoon millionaire drink driving slag to take the piss of of the working class for not being able to afford a few hundred pounds pocket money.

So tempted to just ditch the license

Can i just point to Phil McfukkinNulty, chief footy man at the beeb, and his thinly disguised barbs about the fa cup 'meaning something' again after the wolves game.
I wonder if he's slagged off all those prem teams who couldn't be arsed fielding proper sides in their ties or hinted that they are ruining the competition?

Spot on mate. A lot of actual match going fan's of other clubs side with us as they know the problems and costs incurred of going to games. Most of the abuse comes from overseas trolls and armchair fans who will never go to a game in their lives.

Tin hat on here but comments like Pep made stoke the fire. Instead of saying, " Maybe our fan's will come and support us in the final" or words to that effect,he should be saying what a magnificent effort it was we took over 20,000 fans to a game over 200 miles away with a late kick off time. He could have also added how expensive it is following a team involved in all competitions and many doing so are not as privileged to be as wealthy as us here.

Having a famous Golfer as her Dad did not help her in the slightest.

Oh no. ;)
