I read the news today, oh boy......
Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool, Liverpool. Oh yeah, and Man City won.
So I went upstairs and had a smoke, somebody spoke and I went into a dream.
(With acknowledgement to the Beatles only good thing to come out of scouseland).
Not a fan of The Mersey Beats? ;-)

Ha yeah sadly. Met him at sky sports' studio once. He's always irritated the fuck out of me as he spent ages trying to wind me up as I worked for another fan channel a couple of years back. He honestly used to be considerably worse than he is now, to the point where he was knowingly trying to make me lose my job. Anyway, when I met him a few months back I basically ignored him for hours, and then towards the end I ended up in a convo with him and three others and I was civil cos i'm a reasonable, normal adult. After that he's toned down and gone down this slapstick faux Brent/Partridge character and I've ignored him cos its harmless. This though was a step too far. Don't drag kids into it ffs, and then he offered me out. Jesus wept. Weird fucker.

Accept the offer and PLEASEEEE Can I take your place. I`m 65 and out of shape but I`m convinced I could give him a good slapping.

Germany Calling, Germany Calling, rag media in full flow today ……….

What's it all to do with Twosips, not that young City fan who was clapping and singing away at Palace was it?. The sky cameras panned in on him, singing his team on, like most fans do. Very twisted if it was to do with this.

Pep should ask his bosses how many of the supporters that followed the club through the lean times have walked away, and why.

A quieter, less passionate support is a consequence of pricing core supporters out.

Pep should have a word with Kompany. He gets it
The club have missed a trick with this - didn't Kompany base his degree / masters on the home support?

Income from matchday revenue vs additional points gained from having a full house of a passionate fan base or the like

I woulf strongly advise Pep to study Mancini in his approach to the supporters. He got it.
I imagine that Guardiola feels like he shouldn't need to make the connection.

But for a man who seemingly leaves no stone unturned in terms of preparation for the team and providing the best possible set of circumstances for the team to succeed, I think he overlooks this element in my humble opinion.........

He isn’t a blue
Apparently he was when younger

Manchester United have been rocked ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second leg by the news that their head of academy, Nicky Butt, has been arrested after an alleged domestic incident.

The Daily Mail have reported that Butt, 44, was held by police on Tuesday afternoon just hours ahead of United’s match in Spain.

Butt remained in police custody early this evening.

Manchester United declined to comment at this time. A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: “A 44–year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody for questioning.”

Maybe, definitely not now though

Correct mate, these are his actual words:

Less empty seats leads to a better TV product (money) but also better atmosphere, which in turn affects testosterone levels and territorial behaviour in players, therefore increasing home advantage. There’s financial value in every added league point too.

Had to laugh last night girl on sky " city not sold all there tickets for tomorrow night " then the next item klopp saying " liverpool supporters the best " it really shouldn't get to me but it does how fucking petty can they get

Don’t think it was a sell out an Anfield last week, they seemed to ignore Spurs playing in a half empty Wembley all season. Arsenal are as fair weather as you like and don’t turn up when they spit their dummies when they don’t like the football they are getting. It doesn’t fit in with their agenda though.

Don't you know we have pissed them all off, they are very bitter people and their only satisfaction remaining in life is to spot an empty seat and rub their cocks, this is why we must win tonight and follow up with a win at weekend, this will really rub their grubby faces in the dirt, they must be shitting it even at the thought the quad is possibly on,we win and they suffer

Never heard anything about empty seats before 2011. They seemed to preoccupied in pointing out we had not won anything for 30 odd years, once that monkey was taken off our backs and they realised City were the real deal it left them with nothing to belittle the club with. They then gained on obsession with highlighting the 3rd tier being empty during cup games, it must be a shite existence when your team is in 6th with a novice of a manager in charge that the only thing that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling is City fans not turning up mid week.

On the tube coming back from Palace some lad sat next to me started a conversation with, have you been to palace?

Yes was my reply, he then said Selhurst Park a good ground, I said not really, we demolished a better one at Maine Road. He then pipes up, well at least you could sell Maine Road out.

I then asked him if he was just a dickhead or did he work at it? That was the end of the conversation until his stop came, when as he was walking off he turned and said, I am a scouser as if it was some sort of trophy
