I'm usually really skeptical of fans bemoaning media bias against their club - even us.

But the recent coverage of the title race and Liverpool in general is just farcical. Trying to maintain a facade of impartiality is draining the life out people live on air. The overall coverage and headlines are just nutty.

Enjoy it. We win the league, there will be several million loudmouths struck dumb by an nervous self-doubt and empty feeling. And quite a lot of them will have cushy jobs in the media either because Liverpool were great in the Eighties, or they were big during that spell when the PL was suddenly hyped up and incredibly over-rated despite going backwards rapidly (I'd say 2000 onwards).... and every English player was vastly over-rated as shown by their repeated inability to succeed in Europe or Internationals.

The thing l keep hearing now is " it's not right that a team will not win the league after only losing one game" , the amount of times I've heard this this morning, But no mention of the fact City won more games at the moment (2 more after 35 games) or "how can a team finish with 97 pts not win the league" . Maybe because City mat end up with 98 points , and 98 in more then 97 ! Ps also love how the "experts" have taken for granted Liverpool will finish with 97 !

The BBC news app has a headline link to the Liverpool v Huddersfield game within the main news links stating they are going top. I never see that happen with City. Not even in the derby game on Wednesday. Nauseating.
