Guardians 10 things to look out for this weekend has some bollocks about brighton steering the title towards liverpool would be bigger proof that the prem is the best league more than 4 teams in european finals ffs

I went off to look and sadly you're not wrong....

1) A Brighton miracle would prove Premier League’s strength
Brighton are the 17th best team in the league, are already safe and can at best move up one place; Manchester City are the best team in the land and desperately need victory to seal the title. There is a massive disparity both of ability and motivation here. “They’re fighting for the Premier League and are going to do their utmost to do it,” said Lewis Dunk. “We’re just going out as professional footballers to win a game as you would do every week.” This should make this the single most predictable game of the week, and in all likelihood it will be, but still there must be some doubt. People have argued that the profusion of English clubs in major European finals this season proves that this, as many have always insisted, is the greatest league in the world, but Brighton would produce an argument much more compelling than the achievements of the elite if this limited team, a couple of hours from an extended holiday and with no obvious motivation, could nevertheless produce a performance good enough to change the destination of the title.

Followed by....

2) Liverpool’s belief sky-high but Wolves will not roll over
This is the era of fake news. So fans at Anfield must choose wisely when it comes to deciding how to keep track of Manchester City’s game at Brighton. Because it would be terribly embarrassing if someone started celebrating a goal by, say, Shane Duffy, only to find out it never happened. Having said that, Jürgen Klopp’s task this week is to encourage something close to false hope. He must convince his players that Brighton can sabotage Manchester City. After this week’s events in the Champions League, it won’t be very difficult to keep players believing that a late twist is possible in the Premier League too. So Liverpool must rally their forces, ignore their knocks and niggles and overcome opponents that Klopp would not have chosen. Wolves are a very tidy team who are looking to finish a successful season on a high and who, what is more, are built to defy top opponents. Nuno Espírito Santo’s men have already won at Tottenham this season and taken points away to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. Liverpool have a mighty job on their hands, but the potential prize is a deliverance even sweeter than that win over Barcelona. They won’t win it, will they?

Every dipper, pundit and his dog are peddling the same shite: "Manchester City are the team under the most pressure this Sunday".

Okay, so let's say we win at Brighton on Sunday, any chance we might hear how Liverpool are the most under pressure team going into the final of the champions league?

With Klopp's record in cup finals surely he won't be relishing the idea of facing Tottenham.

Pochettino will be equally as desperate to get a win under his belt and here lies the problem for Liverpool.

The DNA of Liverpool is seeped in victimhood. They appear to struggle with the mantle of 'favourites' hence they dropped a seven point lead to us in the premier league. Remember Klopp's statement when we went above them "who wants to be top in March?" something I'm sure he's regretting now.

The broadcasting media are going to blow smoke up the dippers arses which will heap the pressure on Klopp to win the champions league title.

Why are we only hearing that Brighton players want to beat us in media and the only thing about Wolves is that their manager likes Liverpool? No bias really

Apparently he never said that, must be weird that thousands of us misheard

Unfortunately this is only going to get worse all media outlets will be right on it right up to kick off, they technically can’t effect the players unless they read the bullshit and start to doubt themselves, but it can effect the supporters by having us on edge and nerve jangling which then can transmit itself onto the pitch which we have seen over the years happening to ourselves and other teams, ignore all the bollocks and support the team fuck the media they are desperate for a scouser title win at any costs..

Is it any wonder the Liverpool fan base is deluded and brain washed when they read headlines like this in the Liverpool Echo.

The reality is that Sheikh Mansour's petrodollars can't buy what Klopp has created at Liverpool.

Liverpool’s struggle against financial adversity warms the cockles of your heart. No wonder they are so universally loved by neutrals up and down the land.

Nope, they’ll spin it to tell us it’s only a one game season and we cheated because we only had Brighton and they had the much harder game against Wolves.
Funny because since we beat Leicester you’d think Wolves were sending their u9’s the way the press have totally overlooked any chance the dippers are going to struggle in their clamour to force their ‘Brighton to do Liverpool a favour’ narrative

Much like the prolonged empty seats commentry, the united way myth and other clueless revisionist shite from our sports press, the new one is trophies are less important than being a decent/good team.

No matter what happens and if the scousers don't win the leaģue, the narrative has been set that building a good team is what counts, something that will be forgotten should we finish second, as we won't be given the same treatment.

It's a nasty little piece that ignores actual facts and brushes over Klopp's borderline nut job theories every time they dropped points, no wonder they didn't allow comments on the article.

Thankfully I will be on the Coach heading to Brighton, so I won’t have to watch Sunday Supplement.

Someone had a photo of him tweeting about this story he had six months ago about our owners. When I asked him last night he said he’s been working on it for six months, which was a bollocks cover up. Then it was supposed to be published earlier in the week but, you know there were a couple of big games. Then he was supposed to release it today but the ‘lawyers’ are involved. He might be telling the truth about the evidence he has against our owners and if he is then serious questions will be asked. Either way right now he’s coming across as a typical clickbait hack.

He's appears very thick.

The Mirror, unsurprisingly, has gone with......(see below)

The other online papers are a mixture. Most going with, if City slip up, and are generally pro-Liverpool.

Unsurprisingly the Sun has a positive City article, rather than a Liverpool one.

I thought that but we start 30 mins later than sky premier? Odd

It's not odd, its deliberate, put the scousers on 30 mins earlier so everyone will watch that, no doubt including City fans (otherwise we would be watching our own coverage), that 30 mins will be spent putting the fear of God into us blues whilst boosting Liverpools chances of turning this round. Liverpool score early (likely a soft penalty) then suddenly collective panic sets in amongst City fans as we're at that point losing the league.

It's all designed to crank up the pressure - desperately hoping we fail - every little advantage they can think of.

But, these boys have been there and done it, when a level head was needed last Monday, step up Vincent Kompany.

Calm heads and an unshakeable belief are what's needed from our players and those fans lucky enough to be there sing like f*ck! Don't let us down or more importantly the players down.

These subliminal Stevie G references are cruel.
