I'm interested to see whether they cut from our pre-match stuff to listen in silent awe to Gerry and the Pacemakers belting out over the Anfield tannoy like they did on BT when we were playing in the CL.

Will be even more interesting if we win, they will probably cut away from the players getting to trophy to the weird cult holding hands in front of the kop.

A side point to tomorrow is if we keep a clean sheet and Wolves score then Ederson will win the Golden Gloves for most clean sheets, at the moment it’s 20 each.
And we will finish the season having conceded FEWER goals than the best defence in the world.

I went off to look and sadly you're not wrong....

1) A Brighton miracle would prove Premier League’s strength
Brighton are the 17th best team in the league, are already safe and can at best move up one place; Manchester City are the best team in the land and desperately need victory to seal the title. There is a massive disparity both of ability and motivation here. “They’re fighting for the Premier League and are going to do their utmost to do it,” said Lewis Dunk. “We’re just going out as professional footballers to win a game as you would do every week.” This should make this the single most predictable game of the week, and in all likelihood it will be, but still there must be some doubt. People have argued that the profusion of English clubs in major European finals this season proves that this, as many have always insisted, is the greatest league in the world, but Brighton would produce an argument much more compelling than the achievements of the elite if this limited team, a couple of hours from an extended holiday and with no obvious motivation, could nevertheless produce a performance good enough to change the destination of the title.

2) Liverpool’s belief sky-high but Wolves will not roll over
This is the era of fake news. So fans at Anfield must choose wisely when it comes to deciding how to keep track of Manchester City’s game at Brighton. Because it would be terribly embarrassing if someone started celebrating a goal by, say, Shane Duffy, only to find out it never happened. Having said that, Jürgen Klopp’s task this week is to encourage something close to false hope. He must convince his players that Brighton can sabotage Manchester City. After this week’s events in the Champions League, it won’t be very difficult to keep players believing that a late twist is possible in the Premier League too. So Liverpool must rally their forces, ignore their knocks and niggles and overcome opponents that Klopp would not have chosen. Wolves are a very tidy team who are looking to finish a successful season on a high and who, what is more, are built to defy top opponents. Nuno Espírito Santo’s men have already won at Tottenham this season and taken points away to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United. Liverpool have a mighty job on their hands, but the potential prize is a deliverance even sweeter than that win over Barcelona. They won’t win it, will they?

So all that could be summed up as:
  1. Hope Brighton take points off City.
  2. Hope Liverpool win and take the title.
Why not just say that if that's what they want.

Much like the prolonged empty seats commentry, the united way myth and other clueless revisionist shite from our sports press, the new one is trophies are less important than being a decent/good team.

No matter what happens and if the scousers don't win the leaģue, the narrative has been set that building a good team is what counts, something that will be forgotten should we finish second, as we won't be given the same treatment.
So true. There are absolutely no positives about city and the media would rather ignore us than risk upsetting their hordes of lemmings by inadvertently slipping a positive in about us by mistake

I have lived with media bias for over 65 years since my dad insisted that my life would be more enhanced by choosing City above United to support.
In those days both MEN and the Chronicle gave City an also ran amount of page space.
We did not exist as far as the remainder of the press was concerned but in fairness we were not fashionable although tv was in its infancy and City were there to be either scoffed at or at least our supporters admired for their strange selection of team to support.
Nowadays as a team and a Company we are World Class. We understood yesteryear why we were not media favourites but now that City are up their with the best as a team and are self sufficient as a profit centre we are no better off regarding the media. We have changed but they resent that change so still treat us disrespectfully.
In this world of change the media prefers history to reality so I fear for their financial future.
I don't blame the old guard for trying to prevent our owners City purchase because their worst fears about his ability to compete with them has proved 100 percent right.

Allison is a very good goal keeper - but with the outstanding distribution that Ederson provides us, I don't know how logical people can choose him as the keeper for a team of the year (bias aside)........

Samuel is still generally very good on the whole
I misquoted Martin, he has Ederson in net. My apologies for misleading you and the forum.
