I think he and the others are laughing at all the attention they're getting.
 
Kind of wish that some rich guy from UAE or Qatar or Saudi would buy another English club and pump some money into it just to see the reaction of these journos...

He does stuff for Bein Sports who are Qatar based who I think are in a stand off with Saudi Arabia and the UAE for funding non other than Isis.

He’s all about city doing righteous things in the name of human rights but what about his part in taking money off a country eager to ‘sport wash’.

They seem to make out like Abu Dhabi is like North Korea, I’m surprised non of these hacks have not gone even full on ‘Amnesty International’ by highlighting the stake that the Chinese government has in the City Football Group. I assume it doesn’t feed into the narrative that we are funded by blank cheques being diverted through Etihad and Aabar rather than showing the club is profitable and standing on its own feet.

When you look more deeply into all of these hacks you can trace something back to their own funding being at odds with our owners. It’s definitely agenda driven tripe and using the media to fight their paymasters battles.

But they are reporters apparently they are their to ask the difficult questions. Has anyone questioned Harris on how much he earns, if he’s self employed or how many people’s pay roles he on and how does he account for this on his HMRC tax return at the end of the year and if this is all correct. Difficult questions that need to be asked and all that.

Absolutely fuck all to do with ISIS (which were, in part, funded from Saudi - so the other way around).

And not about funding but Qatar giving asylum to the Muslim Brotherhood which Saudi and the UAE and Egypt class as terrorists (but the UK, US, EU, Canada and UN do not).

Ps, also that’s Rob Harris and not Nick Harris.

Now that these bloggers have "come out" as a collective of City-haters, I think that we have to be prepared for the next onslaught of glee when UEFA announce the ban.

It's important that we don't get sucked into trading insults which is what they want. The slow verbal evisceration they're experiencing now is far more effective in exposing them for the charlatans they are than the playground stuff they feel comfortable with. Enjoy what's happening on the pitch, it's driving them demented, and just know that we'll have the last laugh.

But that wasn’t the point, the point was a poster saying the UAE and Saudi were blockading Qatar because Qatar was state funding ISIS, which isn’t why there is a diplomatic issue between the countries at all.
