He fits the criteria, is a UK citizen and global superstar I'm not able to contradict this but he does play for Norway and I am sure that is a Consideration as well as politics with a P ongoing
He is by a long distance the biggest sporting superstar active in the UK today. Some may disagree but this is a reasonable statement
Mary Earps could walk down Deansgate in a clown costume and nobody would even notice. There appears to be some issues around womens football. Perhaps a battle for broadcasting rights. Anyway send me the clown costume and I will get Mary to Don it and do the walk

Meanwhile it appears that TNT have very belatedly deleted that offensive and indeed libellous tweet about City
But only after 24hrs of harvesting clicks and the sweet sweet ad revenue
This us what we fight against and why
The club stays silent
And still there are naive dickheads on here who deny any sort of bias or agenda
Though we know many of them are shameless tarts and want to grow their own attention seeking media profiles
What's to do here, mate?

Send a link, or whatnot....If there's even a slight possibility for me to become offended I'm taking it.

Do not follow women's football too closely, there does seem to be a general agenda to big it up by various media groups. I know not why. Earps got extensive media exposure about shirt sales?? Recently had a bad game. Has been positive influence for women's sport but overall quite low profile in UK generally. Not considered best English player by many
Seems to me that they see it as an expanding market with a very high ceiling for growth with potential to bring in huge future revenues.

Always feels like I'm watching a televised school sports day whenever I watch it.

SPOTY isnt what it use to be but City getting the top 3 awards must be a real kick in the teeth for the press/media.

They continually write or say shit about City on a daily basis and it seems most people ignore it.

I was surprised that City won these awards mostly because I didnt know SPOTY was on last night lol.

Perhaps Citys approach of ignoring the press/media is working. It doesnt seem to put of sponsors or fans.

With all the hatred from the press/media and I'm really surprised that the general public voted for City.

The press/media today must be furious this morning and their red top bosses must be giving them grief.

And there you go the BBC surprisingly brushing it under their own carpet,on the sports segment on BBC breakfast talking about the winners on SPOTY obviously Mary Earps as the winner then a couple more mentions Kenny Dalglish lifetime achievement,Fatima Whitbread,Helen Rolston award and then an interview with Fatima in the studio, and that was that covering the sport segment,no mention of pep award haaland award or team of the year award, they couldn’t even mention any of last night’s football just to show that it wasn’t just City that got overlooked..

And they used their usual copy and paste comment about us being charged into the story, it’s like every article they do on us they have to get the same comment in.
No surprise the Rags keeper won it as a Rag organisation with that award votes by Rags.
