Unless you can show me where they increased the capacity to 65k, how can that be correct? I can't see any announcement anywhere, only the plans to take it to 68k. Everywhere I've looked has the current capacity for PL games at 62.5k. Including the official PL website. It's possible they increased it without mentioning it, but you'd think there would be a mention on their own website for their fans at least? Other sites have the same attendance figure though, so it's very odd.

04 December 2023:
The current matchday capacity of London Stadium is 62,500, which has been the case since the start of the 2022-23 season. London Stadium’s full capacity is around 68,000 but West Ham is unable to open every seat on match days due to safety restrictions.
It's not that important, since Anfield was never going to be 3rd place at any rate and West Ham will have the 2nd largest stadium by a distance in the near future.

It has already increased, however, WHU are only licensed for 62,500 currently. Seems they are now in trouble as they have breached their licensing agreement with the attendance v MUFC. Even their own website declares 64,472. What on earth is going on?IMG_0875.jpeg
