Just creating himself more publicity. It's what these types thrive on.
He needs to give himself a fake black eye like the fat c**t Howson did, I'm sure it will add more "followers" to his cult.

Several of Hojlund's team-mates were reported to be unhappy over his decision to be interviewed by the channel's owner and presenter Mark Goldbridge because they have been critical of United players.

Goldbridge – real name Brent Di Cesare

The United Stand have since received death threats warning Goldbridge that he is 'a dead man walking' and threatening to harm him if he turns up at Old Trafford.

The messages on social media mentioned other members of staff and the exact location of the studio. Police were called out on Tuesday while security has also been stepped up.

In a statement to Mail Sport, Goldbridge said: 'I totally understand that football is a passionate and divisive sport, and that people are free to decide and have an opinion on what content they consume.

'However, the pile-on some of our staff were subject to over the weekend was incredibly sad to witness. To be threatening people's lives yet again evidences the vile pack mentality that exists on social media.'

Play with fire you get burnt. As somebody who over uses emotion on his channel he knows full well the emotions of supporting a football club. Real hard core fans, the ones who actually go to games, are getting fed up of these fake hysterical online wankers. Bloggers who get tickets for all the big games for teams they don't even support, while real fans miss out are another. Their days are almost over.

Brent Di Cesare has a point.

Football has become passionate and divisive to the point of toxicity. This has largely been fuelled by overreacting and engagement-baiting social media channels that thrive on starting arguments and melodramatic dissections of every facet of the game.

There's this one guy who is a United fan with this really whinging channel where he intentionally uploads videos of his own FIFA career where he screams at the screen with tantrums befitting of a 10 year old.

He even contradicts himself regularly for the sake of just trying to garner any type of reaction.

I think his name is Mark something...

Goldbridge just fuels hatred and one day he will be a victim of the hate he creates. He’s not the only one though. A lot of people in the media are making a lot of money by spreading hate.

It's the overwhelming majority. There are more than enough videos of people pulling stupid faces in the thumbnail and talking about football in these rigid absolutes because that's what football discourse is now. Any high profile story on Instagram devolves into a stupid Messi vs Ronaldo debate.

It's just him complaining about the toxicity of football media is just a hideous lack of self awareness.

Paranoia setting in now with me regarding the BBC app. Big story of the night is Sancho hitting a ball into the net after 3 minutes and he is now the best thing since Bellingham nailed on starter for England blah blah. Incredibly though the article does reference he is on loan but the opportunity to get Manchester United named in the article is not taken amazing …… paranoia or not is this omission to avoid them looking fucking imbeciles for loaning him out. Another surprise is we aren’t mentioned neither as the imbeciles who sold him

That sounds like a Forest fan I've heard about (honestly never listened to though), are you getting them mixed up? They do tend to blend into each other.

I've just been trying to explain this type of idiot to the wife and it sounds even dumber when spoken out aloud.

the weird thing is the hated is fueled and then people want to act like martyrs when it bites them, football has always been tribal since the 70s if you talked out of turn there was a risk you would get a slap and these lot think they can slag off something which people hold dear and think there wont be repercussions for them? Im not advocating violence by any means im just saying how the world works whether people like it or not that is how it works.

It is okay to have an opinion, it is okay to hate city, what is not okay is to be continually and openly disrespectful and expect people not to take it personally.
